Vibes

Really good confidence building section for beginners. Easy leadin. Features clustered much nearer to the start, giving a long paddle out, but with entertaining bimbles all the way down.

Features

  1. A small drop found a tight/blind corner. Nice wave on the very hard right with small eddies downstream. A faffy scout/line of sight situation.
  2. A ledge drop. Far left had a rock (underwater) that was the easiest line - sail smoothly over the rock. Go too far right and it's a shallow slot that might flip beginners. Boofs work everywhere else. Bit of a pin potential slot in the middle, but an autoboof-ish option on its left.
  3. Beginner/inter portage. Technical right line, big boof drop on the left. Beware of a siphon.

Other Notes

At lower levels, that paddle out may be a bit slower and maybe scrapey. Lovely paddle at this level. You'll get into trouble with locals if you use a "layby" in Abercamlais as a halfway car location.
